The Sportarget is made of steel. I silver soldered it onto the steel firing pin nut. I've had very good success with silver soldering other sights before. I used Mark Lee's Express bluing solution to finish the completed project. Of all the bluing solutions that I've used previously, it is the easiest to use and it gives a beautiful deep black finish.
