I wanted to update the forum on my progress on my 1905. Last weekend when I had my trigger assembly apart, I measured the length, width and wire diameter of the factory trigger spring. The original spring gave me a trigger pull of 6+ pounds on the front rigger. A friend of mine gave me information on Sodemann-Springs. He had used the company in the past for doing some trigger work on a pistol. They have an amazing, huge inventory of springs. I searched through their inventory and ordered several springs (they have a $25 order minimum). Tonight, I installed the spring that was almost an exact match length and diameter with a wire size 1/2 of the original. I assembled the rifle and tested the front trigger pull. The pull is now 3lbs 10-14oz. I tested the rifle by thumping the butt on the floor and there doesn't seem to be any safety issue. I will thoroughly safety test it when I go to the range on Friday. ![]() |
