Hi Tinker OK I found this out on the net because I had never heard of shim stock...see below Shim stock is material used to make shims, which are small wedges of this particular material and are used to fill small spaces or gaps between two objects. The shim is usually thin and tapered. It is used to create support, level an object or make for a tighter fit among parts. Do you recommend any particular material? Copper, Aluminium, Tin? (Ive also no idea what shim stock usually is made of) Thanks in advance Bidyanus |
