Yes, he has a sleeker forehead, but it is a young bear & with a small hump, not common with black bears of any size. I'm not convinced it is a black bear.

Perhaps, but in my opinion the head does not have the shape of a griz, the hump comes from the log that is under its center and claws are no where near that of a griz..at least the one we killed 2 months ago in Russia.. but, that's just my perspective...
