M-S 1903 Lang Stutzen: interesting variation by Glaser

That fine Mannlicher-Schönauer 1903 stutzen sports a special order 23" barrel and has been proofed in Vienna in 1924.
Glaser Waffen in Zürich, Switzerland, retailed the rifle and fitted a Carl Zeiss "Zielmulti" 1-4x R1 variable scope on superbly handcrafted claw mounts before adding a quickly removable comb to ease use of that fine glass [a great innovation then that first appeared mid 1922]
As you can see this 1903 retains near 100% of its original finish.
With a perfect bore the accuracy remains superb, overall functioning is butter smooth and the Jena made scope delivers a surprising clean picture.

Regards to all.
