If I understood correctly the 6.3 mark denotes being made 1912-1914 ![]() proof on receiver ring: ![]() ![]() Barrel marks: ![]() The serial number on the barrel matches the butt plate number. Hated to hear it was refinished but, I don't think I got hurt too badly on the price. It is still a wonderfully made firearm to me. Great to know the scope is Schmidt & Bender at least.
