Thank you. It sounds like the issue is improper use, and not the pull through itself.

I've had a great deal of luck with them. They have their place, and my Otis system is very useful. But I can see how mis-using them would create their own issues, and I can see how easy it is to mis-use.

I've seen people bang up a muzzle with a rod, too. The problem with trying to make things fool-proof is that fools are so darn innovative.
