According to the book I have on Laszlo Almasy, he drove,worked for the Steyr Automobile Works and Steyr wanted him to go to Cairo as their Rep ,to establish Steyr as a Brand name in the Middle East and Africa ,in 1926 used a Steyr Tourer from Cairo to Aswan ,in the following year Steyr sent several vehicles including experimental vehicles to Cairo for a Exhibition ,some being 6 wheeled.
