Not bad looking, with the exception of that (ugh) rubber recoil pad, but it is described in the ad as being 'Made 1922'. According to all I've ever read the Sequoia, introduced as Model of 1924, was the first MS with the longer action built to accommodate the .30-'06 and later as the 'high velocity' or 'M1925' of various calibers. Not only that, but photo #4 shows the 'postwar' style bolt release button, and is that a 'tang safety'? Nice engraving, though, and a dandy MS if a bit pricey. |
