Thanks Daryl, not sure how I’ d ‘Fix/Lock’ the muzzle cap to the barrel, - it does free float right from the receiver until both stock and cap interfere with the last inch of barrel toward the muzzle.
I understand the barrel should be entirely free floating without any interference, as were the earlier Mod.L & M rifles I’d sorted previously.
