"I'd post scans of the relevant catalog pages, but have had no success in previous attempts to do so." BR. Well, great day in the morning. I've finally added an image to a post on NitroExpressForums! If only I could get an 'avatar' to post... . Anyhow, now that I've cleared the hurdle, I have a 1939 Stoeger catalog that I have carefully deconstructed and scanned into my computer for the purpose of sharing images on information forums such as this. Stoeger billed themselves as the 'sole importer' for Mannlicher Schoenauer arms to the U.S. in 1939 and there are several relevant entries of MS rifles and carbines, ammo, ballistics data, scopes, etcetera. I will start a thread for groups of these images. For now, here's the photo that I'd like to have as my 'avatar' (hint, hint, moderators), that of my Grandfather (John F. Easton) with his 'kitty'. 'Johnny's Cat' - John F. Easton, center, with M1910 Takedown Sorry if I 'hijacked' your thread, Paradox. Brian Rothhammer |
