I had an Army Navy retailed Steyr in 6.5x53R. Beautiful little rifle to hunt with. With the 160 Woodleighs worked very well on donkeys so imagine it would be very nice on deer. I moved it on because I don't like to handload and I found the clips a bit of a pain in the arse. I have seen a few of these rifles made up as custom rifles and they definitely have a special look to them.
