My little carbine was proofed in 1921. It is a takedown with the pop up tang sight and butt plate compartment with cleaning rod. It has the lightest colored stock I have seen, looks like maple to my eye. The stock is original, numbered to the gun, but the forend tip was missing so a horn tip was fitted. Just curious to know if any of you have seen a blonde stock like this one.
