I have been to Austria many times and always find the people very friendly, the scenery magnificent and the food fantastic. The Austrian's also don't seem to have let the greens ruin the place like many other European countries, evidence given by the fact that every second clothes shop still sells fur coats. Their culture is still alive with traditional clothing worn by many people on a daily basis, not just special occasions. The hunting scene is still very big there and hunting is not looked down on like other places, most people still hunt with classic rifles rather than synthetic tactical shit. At least that is how I found Austria to be when I have been there. Maybe any Austrian forum members could chip in and give us an update. Anyway I love the place. Enjoy.
