I am aware that Remington built a number of 8mm Mannlicher Berthier rifles for France and read that they might have produced some sporters but had never seen one until I stopped in a small gunshop in Arizona and saw this one.
Does anyone have any information on these rifles ?

It has an interesting peep sight as well
