Dear All. I had the chance to acquire recently in France a M-S Model 1910 (proofed 1924)with detachable stock, in an almost mint condition. There is unfortunately a small flaw as the spring of the fore-end pin is half-broken and its top part is missing. I contacted Eric Schoder in Austria but didn't yet get any reply (I think this company stopped trading) and www.customscrewsandmore.com in the US (no reply as of yet)in order to see whether they could fix this issue. I know this recurring issue of missing/broken fore-end pins has already been discussed at length in this Forum and that there is no straightforward fix, however I would be grateful to any of you that could advise me on a craftsman that could replace the spring or on somebody that may have a pin to sell. Best regards. Louis |
