Thanks for that input Vlad, I've used the peepsight just to fire the rifle, but will probably never use it again as the rifle will be scoped very soon.
I intend to use it hunting and hoped to be on the stags with it before 21st October...may not make that date though, so I reckon the first beastie to be taken with it is likely to be a hind before the end of the year.
