I think that this rifle was ordered in this configuration, I.E.-half stock, carbine barrel and M1900 style bolt. I just double checked the serial number on the underside of the bolt root with the serial numbers on the receiver ring and barrel to see if they are in the same font and they are. This is something I learned while collecting military Mauser rifles. Force matched serial numbers on Mauser rifles are usually in a different font.

Though barrel length is not that unusual, apparently, it seems the bolt is.
