described as take down it seems you can take the barrel with action out by pressing a button on the stock - anyone an idea?
A standard Steyr factory "take down", in fact a detachable stock. A pre-war factory option. Quite popular in the British empire, but rarely seen in Germany or Austria. Disassembly procedure: Take out the crosspin through foreend. Remove magazine floorplate, cradle and rotor. Turn a small latch in front of the triggerguard. Now the barreled action may be lifted out of the stock. No "pressing a button" only.
