Yes, essentially the mount is a tube with a spring and large cap screw to put tension on the rings. By pushing forward, you can swing the mount down and out of the way. I will have to take a look since I can’t remember the name of the manufacturer off hand, but I did a quick online search right after I purchased it and couldn't find anything about it. I would love to find another one for a Steyr M95 Sporter that I am working on.
