I have a Jeffery retailed Mannlicher with a plate added to the bottom in the same way.
Also, would you try to reline it back to the original chambering or go with something else?

I know what you mean about picking up projects... Seems like I will have to become a gunsmith when I retire, I have so many darn projects...
