Re: PPU 6.5x54 ammo issues?

Guys:

A little trick I've used in the past for other purposes where factory loads were too long. {Now first I have to say I WISH I had the same problem you guys have cuz that would mean I'd own a M/S which I don't!! LOL}

IF OAL is the only problem, it's a snap to fix. Just get a kinetic bullet puller and "bump" the bullets out a wee bit and reseat using a seating die. If you are not a reloader, no worries, just bet a cheap LEE press or better yet the cheap LEE hand press and one seating die or a set of LEE M/S dies and use the seater. It works no problem. The combination cost of the hand press and dies are nothing compared to the total savings of Prvi ammo over the options like Norma if you shoot much at all.

Of course if you are a reloader you no doubt know this already.

Bump the bullet out a bit, reseat to proper OAL, fire.

Problem solved.
