gfischer, if it is of any help when I had an old greek mannlicher customised, the smith in Oregon built up and tested a number of rounds with Nosler, Barnes, Woodleigh and Hornady bullets. The Hornady had an overall length of 3.02" and fed OK but was the least accurate, the other 3 were all good but had overall lengths of 3.03 or 3.04". If you use anything shorter than 3.02" in my rifle I get the same problem you mention above. I have about 90 rounds of RWS ammo left in the UK which feeds fine. I have ordered a couple of hundred rounds of the primi ammo for here in Spain but am still waiting. What is the overall length of the ammo you have ? best, Mike |
