Hey Hemihead, Send that M-S to me! Yes the Monte Carlo stock is a bit much. The forend is nicely shaped however. As for the .244 or better known as the 6mm Remington it is an excellent round, better than the .243 Winchester. I would think it is ideal for roe deer in Europe. It is capable on fallow, whitetail, chital, with a 100 gr controlled expansion bullet, a perfect size for hog deer, perfect for roos with a 70 or 75 gr HP, and all sorts of medium sized game. Great on feral pigs and goats. |
