Hello, I am new to Nitro Express forum. I have a Mannlicher-Schoenauer 1908 of unknown caliber. My grandfather left this rifle to me. From what I can find this rifle should be 8x56ms but it is stamped 8,7 57 on one side and 7m on the other. It also has two bullet weights 18gr on the left by the 8,7 57 and several inches towards the rear of the action 12.7gr. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. I am taking it to my gunsmith for a chamber cast this week but would like to understand the marks on the rifle. Thank You
