Why is there no Mannlicher-Schoenauer book equivalent to Jon Speed's "Mauser Original Oberndorf Sporting Rifles" or Olsen's "Mauser" book or similar? The old books by Walter H. B. Smith are not equivalent or adequate. Aside from a series of articles in my RIFLE magazine back issues (from the 70's seem best) there doesn't seem much out there...The Mannlicher Collectors Assoc. used to publish a few things but they seem to have gone into hibernation...It seems odd that there is so little in print.
