That is absolutely gorgeous!! I look at your work and think of how much I could learn from someone like you! The pitting on my action is fairly deep in spots and I think I'd take too much metal to polish it like yours. I do believe I can get it better than it is though. People are suggesting rust blueing but this is going to be a carry all day, in all types of weather game killing rifle and I've always liked the looks of a parkerized weapon and that type of finish is durable and rust resistant.
