Will a Greek military M-S cocking piece interchange with that from a 1910 M-S? Any alterations required?

I see that Numrich has the Greek cocking pieces available and I recently picked up a Lyman 1A sight complete with the already dovetailed mounting nut. It looks like the nut is located on the cocking piece via two small machine screws and I'd prefer to not drill and tap the factory c.p. on the rifle if I can swap in a spare.
