akw, We were unaware of who the actual owner of the rifle was. Or who actually has copyright to the photos. Not necessarily the same person either. Complicated by a third person actually posting the photos!? If photo copyright has been breached of course the owner of the copyright can ask for removal of the photos. Normally we don't edit posts or threads without good reason or cause. And the photos are not even stored on NE in any case in this instance. Not yet anyway. The vast majority of members here though regard these forums as a fellowship to share things with each other, ask and answer questions, entertain each other. There is also a vast archive of photos and other information on many firearms, many rare and classic firearms. I think you would find these forums full of like minded persons from around Australia and the globe, and enjoy joining in on these forums in discussions. Your rifle has received many compliments and it seems many believe it would be a great addition to stay on the NE Mannlicher archives. So it is up to you. |
