Very nice!

My Steyr sporter is a full stock carbine done on a Romanian bbld action.
A bring back from a WW2 vet, it came w/ 1 clip and 1 lonely round of 1917 headstamped ammo.

Who ever did the work did a nice job, but no name on it. Someone later D&T'd it for a side mount. I'll have to fill that in.

I make cases from 303 and 30-40Krag. Though the latter is easier, the Krag brass is getting kind of scarce, so it's back to the HXP 303 supply. They can be tough to resize. I'll have to try the 308 die trick.
With my rifle, I have to thin the base just in front of the rims no matter what brass I use.

Using 6.5 M/S dies.

I do have a set of 6.5x53R dies (RCBS) somewhere packed away. Would there be any difference between the two?
I was always lead to believe they were the same except for the rim.
Writing this now,,I'm not so sure!
