Haven't been here for a while, however my appreciation of the MS sporters had not diminished one bit. I have owned a 1910 take-down for some time now, and although it has been restocked and reblued some time in the past it is nevertheless a marvellous thing. The bore is excellent so all its other indiscretions are quickly forgiven!

I just looked up my original posts on this rifle, it was December 2008! Time sure flies... The photo accompanying that thread is from the seller:- I'll take some better ones when I get time and post them here.

Also, there was a thread on load development for the 9.5 MS, in which I made a bunch of promises about knocking over a buff with it, promises I couldn't keep at the time I'm afraid, humble apologies.
I did manage to get that rifle out for a hunt a couple of weekends back however, its first time in the field in my hands, and although no buffs were taken it nevertheless lived up to all expectations. The story of that hunt is up on the Aussie hunting pages here for your interest.

I will certainly be taking it out again soon, once again with a decent buffalo in mind! With luck the wet season will hold off long enough for this to finally become a reality, otherwise it may have to be top of the "New-Year's Resolution" list....

...Again!!
