Re: ? For 9.5x57 owners

Gentlemen,

I purchsed an used Steyr GK Stutzen in 9,5x57 M. Sch. together with ammunition which consisted of enlarged 9,3x57 Norma cases and Hornady 270grs Spire point bullets seated below cannelure (feeds perfectly, not yet tested for velocity)

My ammunition was assembled with ch4 dies, Horneber cases and Sierra 200grs FP, Delsing SPRN and Hornady 270grs Spire point bullets.
Velocity testing showed that Kemira N140 is too slow for the 270grs Hornady, velocity was about 520 m/s with very good precision and a comfortable recoil.
RWS/Dynamit Nobel powder R902 together with Delsing 270grs SPRN was measured with 560 m/s.
(no max loads)

best regards
Rolf
