I don't know.His book covers a time span from 1903. If he used an 8mm only later, I think it's an 8x56 Mannlicher-Schoenauer, introduced 1908. But remember, Kalman Kittenberger was a citizen of the K&K empire up to 1918, then a Hungarian.
