With respect you are wrong re the mag style of the M72. It was/is definitely a rotary mag with a plastic rotar and some sort of alloy for the rest of the mag body. I know because I have one. It was my first CF rifle bought at age 17 after a couple of years of saving my pennies. It is now on its 3rd rotar assembly - being plastic they tend to break.
