BTW, the first plastic - stocked Steyr-Mannlicher,rear lockup, plastic triggerguard, plastic rotary magazine, was the SSG69, developed 1969 as a .308 sniper rifle for Austrian army and police.
As I hate plastic stocks on rifles, I don't care about the others. In fact, I don't care about the Steyr-Mannlicher or fi the Blaser R93 at all.I get pimples and itches from touching...
