The Gibbs in the photos I posted is very effective on white tail . It is the 6.5 x53R that I load with 160 grain round nose and 40 grains of N-560 . It gives me about 2300 feet per second and 1800 or so foot pounds . Not too bad for an 1893 dated rifle . Light weight to carry in the woods . Jim
