I'm taking her out on a date again this weekend so will have a good look under the scope to see if there are any other markings.

I really don't think it is a later model rifle because it has "Model 1903" engraved on the receiver ring and the older style magazine with no support at the cartridge shoulder like the 1950 and later models.

Hopefully will post more pictures of some tusky boars after the weekend.
