I'm interested in some "blow by blow" accounts of game taken with the 6.5x54MS; I'm thinking of downsizing my rifle collection and am not sure which to part with. I'd like some observations on actual game taken; range, size/type of game, where struck, and other pertinent points, from people who have used it in more recent times than Bell, Percival, and Hemingway's spouses--and perhaps even some comparisons with game taken with the 6.5x55, 7x57, 8x56MS, 8x57, 9x57, and so on. It doesn't have to just be favorable results, either. Anyone out there?
