I posted on anther thread about a friend wanting to build a .275 Rigby on a Winchester action.

Now I must object to taking a perfectly good Mannlicher and making a 6.5 Swede out of it.

That is just as big a sacrilege.

Why not take a 1955 Corvette and put in a Ford Engine? How How about putting Wankel Rotary in a Rolls Royce Phaeton? Getting a new King of England from Germany? (oh yeah, sorry)

Mike, please rethink this. The 6.5x54 is wonderful just the way it is. Easy to reload and ammunition is available if you look a bit.
