I just picked up a MS MCA carbine ca 1966 in 30-06.

I have a MS M72 carbine with the original scope mount that I just love and now I begin the quest to find something for this one.

I know that the Watt Walnut company has the Redfield type of base -- do the holes line up with the pre-drilled ones of the MS MCA ? I know that Racknagle and Talley must sell them, but I would guess they would be in the $400-500 mark. Any other suggestions?

Is there an aftermarket replacement for the plastic tang safety switch?

Also, it was missing the front sling loop and screw -- is it possible to find these any where or would they need to be made?
