One of my friends in Darwin has one, but he's not parting with it (understandably!) I suspect there aren't many in Australia. If you hope to acquire a good example, you will need deep pockets! |

Thanks Marrakai for answering. I am preparing some documetations of Austrian hunting rifles and are not able to find a picture of a 10,75x68 Mannlicher receiver. Is it possible for you to assist me with a receiver photo from your friend ? It would be a great help for me - thanks in advance Johann |

Marrakai, If you get some photos, please post them here too. A carbine stock Mannlicher-Schoenauer in 10.75mm would be quite a handy rifle. |

I'll contact Geoff after Christmas and see if a photo session can be arranged. Meanwhile, here's a rather poor photo of the big Mannlicher on the firing line at one of our Big Game Rifle shoots here in Darwin. BTW John, it's a rifle obviously, not carbine stocked. Don't think any of the 10.75s were carbines originally. |

OK makes sense. I considered buying a 9.5x57 once in the rifle version once. But a 10.75x68 would be a lot more versatile. |
