In Ferlach, weapon-manufacturing enterprises can be traced back as far as 1550, the earliest ones only for the military purposes. Since that time, hunting-weapons of better and better quality have been supplied.

Today, the individual manufacture of single items with the highest stability of value lasting for generations to come, can be considered as being the perfection of the Ferlach gunsmith´s trade.
The oldest gunsmith´s and hunting-weapon manufacturing enterprise resident in Ferlach today was first documentarily mentioned in 24.4.1752.

The enterprises existing today, under the leadership of Peter Hambrusch ( 11th generation master gunsmith) with the help of exceptionally well-trained gunsmiths and master gunsmiths, manufactures hunting weapons which stand up to the highest qualitative demands and critical judgment, which are recognised and esteemed world-wide.
