In my opinion (?) that would be a dandy conversion, the pressures are the same, according to my books altho I don't have a drawing on the 7 X 57R for a rim size. Hmmmmmmm. It would be close to a .303 I would think and if they can be altered to 45-70 the smaller should be doable.
