Hi Rolland. Could you post a close up of the right-hand receiver stock mount area under the bolt handle?

I suspect that the "BSA C2" is actual BSA Co with the o on top of an underscore. Its a common confusion when the o isn't as distinctly stamped as it should have been.

Only a guess, but I think the bracket on the left side may have been a mount for a type of folding aperture sight that was popular at the time. Not quite the same as the common BSA No9 sight, but similar.

Does the right-hand receiver stock mount show a royal cypher (ie a crown) or the words "Lee Speed Patents"? Does it have a date?
