Well done, Mic, as is usual. That separated jacket and core was interesting. When I first saw this, I thought they were bonded, but then though - no, can't be. Still, coming apart at the end of travel is not a bad thing, especially when so well expanded. My buddy Keith had good luck with Hornady Interbond 150's in .308 Cal., fired at 2,750fps from his P14 .303 chambered on a .308 barrel. The elk was just over 400yards and dropped at the shot, double lunged. The 2 deer he got with the same load were just over 100yards. |
