Re: BSA .410 shotgun

Damn- would love to have that available in Canada - would buy it in a heart beat - or less. A straight .303 would be a bit short of 2 1/2", but no matter. Is it choked? If so how much pls? I have an inquiring mind - sorry.

A .40 or .41 cal gas check can be used as an over shot wad, or cards of course.

When using .444 Marlin brass in a regular .410 with .44 mag gas checks as over shot wads - I got better patterns with 1/2" shot than with factory shells in my favourite grouse gun, or in the original full choked gun - now is a weak modified choked gun good for birds on the wing to a strong 30yards.
