My gunsmith, mr Nyhuus, was very impressed with the rifle especially the excellent condition, it's like new. The head space was also like new, about 0.08 mm.

We have now slugged a lead bullet through and it measures 0.309", which is good but the bullets I have is Speer 180 which are .311". Is that too much to safely fire? I guess so which means I need to use a normal .30 bullet.
