Polishing the action and eliminating all tool marks on raceway is going well ;about 75% completed. When I first acquired this action it was nearly impossible to work the bolt in the action due to minor rust and corrosion. Now the bolt works with slickery speed. Trigger pull is excellent with zero creep : I had nothing to do with this ,I just lucked out. Boyds apparently has extra fancy Claro Walnut stocks for this rifle in a classic design .Took a chance and ordered one and I will have to wait to see how it looks. Good feeling making something out of what some would term a pile of scrap.
