While I prefer the MLM, MLE, or even SMLE action over the No4 I found this rifle the other day & while it was roughly done it felt great & light in the hand, in 303/243 !

So yes you could do some thing nice on that action to.

I may do a Mannlicher type my self yet, I even have a 405 short in the works & have two barrels rebored to 375 one on the light No 3 SMLE barrel !

Seemed to look nicer in the flesh

Some of the stocks I'm using, unfortunately the man who made these has passed away & a chap in Tassie may be doing them now !
