A Lee Speed ( with a bit of work)????

I was out on my daily 5 mile run today and I passed a garage sale. Normally I just run by these things but today something caught my eye. It was an old #4 Enfield rifle with no wood in a sorry state ,covered in grime no blueing but very little rust .I couldn't even see the bore but under that grime I spotted a Nitro Crown N stamp and decided to take a chance for $25 US dollars. Well I got it home and cleaned the bore and it was mint! Barrel has ben shortened to 22 + inches (with a hack saw) but that is ok. Has a BW stamp on barrel and receiver and my buddy who is a Brit Enfield guru said the rifle came from the Black Watch in Kenya. As I am not an expert I am posting pictures for opinions .I plan to restore (or convert ) this rifle to a classic Lee Speed style sporter with a classic scope . A lot of work to do ....now to find some wood .just rummaged through the box of parts that came with the rifle ..3 magazines and one is a 5 rounder
